Note from the Cellar Master

The color is a beautiful deep gold that reflects the nine years of ageing on lees (bottling in 2013 and disgorgement in early 2022). The bubbles are delicate and elegant. The first nose reveals a great aromatic complexity. The first impression reminds us of fresh raspberries, then quickly gives way to elegant and refined toasted aromas. Subtle fruity notes complete this feeling with notes of Mirabelle plum. The second nose reveals white and exotic fruits with aromas of papaya and mango, followed by notes of caramel. On the palate, the flavors are surprisingly fresh and well-balanced, with beautiful tension and harmony. The toasted aromas are completed by notes of Mirabelle plum, leading to delicate mouthful and floral finish (jasmine). This Jeroboam is a sublime experience and reveals an exceptional Brut Réserve to be shared with friends or to pair with food. This champagne proves the relevance of large formats for ageing.
